Your three-day adventure begins early in the morning when our representative will meet you at your hotel and accompany you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to depart Cairo, heading southwest towards the stunning Wadi Al-Hitan, also known as the Valley of the Whales.
When you arrive at Wadi El Hitan, you will be amazed by the dramatic landscape that surrounds you. The main attractions here are the remarkably preserved fossils of ancient whales and other marine creatures that once inhabited this barren desert.
These fossils are a testament to the evolution of marine life and the evolution of whales as mammals. We’ll explore the wonders of paleontology in the region, and provide in-depth explanations of the ancient creatures that once roamed these lands.
We will also enjoy lunch amidst the stunning desert landscape, providing an opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll head to our cozy desert camp accommodation, where you can stargaze and enjoy the tranquil desert atmosphere.

After breakfast at the desert camp, we will set off on a wonderful adventure by visiting:
Our first stop in Fayoum will be the charming village of Tunis, famous for its artisanal pottery and colorful markets. Here, you can interact with locals, shop for handicrafts, and sample some traditional Egyptian cuisine for lunch.
Next, we will visit Lake Qarun, an ancient lake that played an important role in Egyptian history and mythology. You’ll have the opportunity to take a boat trip on its calm waters, see a variety of bird species, and learn about the region’s rich natural heritage.
Go for lunch at a local restaurant
After lunch, we’ll explore Wadi El Rayan Reserve, home to stunning waterfalls and two connected lakes, formed from ancient springs and the remains of prehistoric seas. This natural oasis in the heart of the desert is a testament to the diversity of Egypt’s landscapes.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll head to our cozy desert camp accommodation, where you can stargaze and enjoy the tranquil desert atmosphere.
Overnight Camping in Fayoum Oasis
Meals: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner
On our last day, after breakfast, we will explore more of the Fayoum Oasis before returning to Cairo. We will visit the Qasr Qarun Temple dedicated to the Greco-Roman god Sobek, and learn about the history of this wonderful site.
Our final stop will be at the magical Wadi Al Rayyan Lake, where you can enjoy a swim in its clear turquoise waters, surrounded by dense palm trees and sand dunes – an ideal place for relaxation and contemplation.
Then go to have lunch at a local restaurant
After your trip ends, our representative will accompany you on your return trip to Cairo, carrying all these wonderful memories. When you arrive, he will take you to your accommodation.
