Your two-day safari tour begins early in the morning as we depart Cairo towards the tranquil oasis of Fayoum, located just 100 kilometers southwest of the bustling capital.
Our first stop is the charming village of Tunis, located on the edge of Lake Qarun, the third-largest lake in Egypt. Here, you will get a taste of the local culture during our visit to the pottery workshop. Watch skilled craftsmen as they shape clay into beautiful ceramics.
We continue our journey by delving deeper into the oasis to explore the ruins of the ancient city of Cranes, which was founded during the Ptolemaic era and was once a bustling Greco-Roman city. Wander through the exquisitely preserved remains of houses, temples, and baths.
Then have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
After lunch, we head towards the famous Wadi El Rayyan, a protected area with two stunning turquoise lakes. The upper lagoon is a freshwater oasis, while the lower lagoon is a saltwater oasis, both connected by a magical waterfall.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll set up camp amidst the tranquil desert landscape of Fayoum. Enjoy a delicious traditional Egyptian dinner cooked over an open fire and savor the serenity of the desert night sky.

Wake up to the soothing sounds of the desert as the sun rises over the dunes. After breakfast, we start an exciting desert safari. Our expert guides will take you on a thrilling ride through the dunes, where you can experience the adrenaline rush of sandboarding or simply enjoy the stunning desert views.
Next, we will visit Qasr Qarun Temple, also known as the Temple of Dionysias. This ancient temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek is one of the best preserved temples from the Middle Kingdom.
Our journey then takes us to the ruins of the enchanting Hawara Pyramid, which was once the final resting place of Pharaoh Amenemhat III. Marvel at the massive limestone blocks and learn about the mysteries surrounding this ancient structure.
Then have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will head to the charming city of Fayoum. Here, we will visit the Madinat Madi Temple, another ancient archaeological site dating back to the Greco-Roman era.
After finishing, we will begin our return trip to Cairo, to bid farewell to the Fayoum Oasis. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo.
