Hurghada is the capital city of the Red Sea Governorate in Egypt and one of the country’s most famous tourist destinations. Located on the western coast of the Red Sea, about 500 km southeast of Cairo, Hurghada stretches for nearly 36 kilometers along the shoreline.
Originally a small fishing village, Hurghada has grown since the 1980s into an internationally renowned resort city, attracting millions of visitors every year. It is famous for its crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and vibrant marine life, making it a global hotspot for scuba diving, snorkeling, and water sports.
