Itinerary

1Meeting and introduction

The first stop on this full-day tour is the Giza Plateau to see the pyramids that are one of the last remaining wonders of the ancient world. See the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the second Pyramid of King Chephren and the third pyramid of King Mycerinus. You will also see the queen’s pyramids and enter one. Our expert Egyptologist guide will provide detailed explanations about the structures in the Giza complex, including the limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, which was the guardian of the necropolis. Enjoy lunch before visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, where more than 200 000 artifacts, including many original antiques and treasures, are on display. See the treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his solid gold mask and solid gold coffin which were discovered in his tomb in 1922.
