Gate-2-Egypt Tours does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions cancelled due to force majeure events such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, or other reasons beyond your control. If cancellation is due to personal or business reasons and costs have already been incurred on your behalf, you will be charged for these costs.
You will be picked up from your hotel or another location of your choice in Sharm el-Sheikh for the drive of about two and a half hours to Taba. You will board a ferry boat at 7:30 am and arrive in Aqaba in Jordan at 8:45 am, where you will be met by your expert tour guide. You will enter Petra by walking through the amazing winding gorge of more than a kilometre. See the grand Roman theatre and the royal tombs, an excellent place for pictures, where you can see plenty of monuments and obelisks all carved from the multi-shaded, rose red sandstone. Enjoy lunch at a five-star hotel before driving back to Aqaba, where you will have about an hour free for shopping. Catch the 7:30 pm ferry boat back to Taba and be transferred back to your hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh.
