You are met on arrival at the Cairo International Airport and transferred to your five-star hotel near the pyramids. Stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at your hotel, you are transported to the Pyramids of Giza to explore the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the second Pyramid of King Chephren, the third pyramid of King Mycerinus and enter the queens’ pyramids. Enjoy an amazing view of nine pyramids together in one shot. Also see the fantastic view of the sphinx and three pyramids behind it. After lunch at an elite restaurant, you visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and see its many treasures, including the gold mask and golden coffin of King Tutankhamun. You are transferred back to your hotel to stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at your hotel, you visit the world’s oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, which was designed by Imhotep for King Zoser. Explore the amazing tombs of the nobles next to the Step Pyramid. Then explore the Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt, and visit its beautiful small museum, which was built by King Ramses II and dedicated to the god Ptah, supreme god of Memphis. You are transported back to your hotel to stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at your hotel, you are transferred to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. On arrival in Luxor, you are met by our expert tour guide and transferred to your five-star cruise boat on the Nile River. Enjoy lunch on the boat. From the moment you embark, breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea is included in your tour package. After lunch, visit the Karnak Temple complex, a series of temples dating back to the reigns of different kings, and the Great Hypostole Hall with its 134 gigantic columns. See the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and King Thutmose III. See the city from a horse-drawn carriage on your way to visit the Luxor Temple, the largest of the ancient temples. Back on the cruise boat, the evening’s entertainment is a traditional belly dancing show. Overnight on the boat.
After breakfast on board, disembark to visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s temple and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, on the West Bank of the Nile. Return to the boat for lunch and start sailing towards Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board before joining in the fun of a disco party on board in the evening. Overnight on the boat at Edfu.
After breakfast on board, visit the impressive temple of Horus at Edfu, considered to be one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. Continue sailing towards Kom Ombo, where you visit the temple dedicated to the gods Horus, the great god of protection, and Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility. Back on the cruise boat, enjoy the evening’s galabeya party. Overnight on the cruise boat.
After breakfast on board, continue sailing to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, visit the Aswan High Dam and enjoy a ride on a felucca, a traditional wooden sailboat, around the islands of Aswan to see Kitchener’s Island, the Mausoleum of Aga Khan and more. Visit the temple of Philae on one of the islands. Overnight on board.
After breakfast on board, you disembark and you are transferred to the Aswan airport for a flight to Cairo. You are met at the Cairo International Airport by our expert tour guide, who will take you to visit the world’s oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, and the tombs of the nobles next to the pyramid. You are then transferred to your five-star hotel in Cairo. Stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at your hotel, you are transferred to Cairo International Airport for your trip back home with wonderful memories of Egypt.
On the second day, seeing the royal mummies of the pharaohs at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities is an optional extra and will incur an additional charge of USD8 per adult and USD5 per child.
