You are met on arrival at the Cairo International Airport and transferred to your five-star hotel in Cairo near the pyramids. In the evening, enjoy a cruise along the Nile River with a belly dance and Tanoura dance show with dinner (optional). Stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at your hotel, you are transported to the Pyramids of Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the second Pyramid of King Chephren, the third pyramid of King Mycerinus, and enter the queens’ pyramids. Marvel at the amazing view of nine pyramids together in one shot. Also see the fantastic view of the sphinx and three pyramids behind it. Enjoy lunch at an elite restaurant. In the afternoon, continue your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, where you will see the treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his gold mask and gold coffin, and mummified animals, which were worshipped in the time of the pharaohs. After breakfast at your hotel, you are transferred to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. On arrival in Luxor, you are met by our expert tour guide and transferred to your five-star cruise boat on the Nile River. Enjoy lunch on the boat. From the moment you embark, breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea is included in your tour package. After lunch, visit the Karnak Temple complex, a series of temples dating back to the reigns of different kings, and the Great Hypostole Hall with its 134 gigantic columns. See the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and King Thutmose III. See the city from a horse-drawn carriage on your way to visit the Luxor Temple, the largest of the ancient temples. In the early morning, you may enjoy a hot-air balloon ride, a fabulous experience that will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your holiday in Egypt (optional). After breakfast on board, explore the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s temple and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, on the West Bank of the Nile. Return to the boat for lunch and start sailing towards Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board before joining in the fun of a disco party on board in the evening. Overnight on the boat at Edfu.
After breakfast on board, visit the impressive temple of Horus at Edfu, considered to be one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. Continue sailing towards Kom Ombo, where you visit the temple dedicated to the gods Horus, the great god of protection, and Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility. After breakfast on board, continue sailing to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, visit the Aswan High Dam and enjoy a ride on a felucca, a traditional wooden sailboat, around the islands of Aswan to see Kitchener’s Island, the Mausoleum of Aga Khan and more. Visit the temple of Philae on one of the islands. Overnight on board.
After breakfast on board, you disembark and you are transferred to the Aswan airport for a flight to Cairo. You are met at the Cairo International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. Stay overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at your hotel, you are collected for a full-day tour. Visit the world’s oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, which was designed by Imhotep for King Zoser. Explore the amazing tombs of the nobles, such as the tomb of Kagemny. Enter the tombs of King Tity and the most colourful of the pyramids, the pyramid of King Unas. After breakfast at your hotel, you are collected for a full-day tour exploring the city of Alexandria. Highlights include the catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar, the Citadel of Qaitbay from the outside and the amazing library of Alexandria.
