A beyond memorable day in Cairo! This last June my husband and I traveled to Cairo. We had the pleasure of having Mahmoud as our tour guide. My friend had recently visited Cairo and raved about him, so we connected with him and made sure to secure our dates. From the moment we began planning our trip with him I was impressed. Communication was fabulous and he planned a perfect day for us. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in good hands. He arrived at our hotel on time and with a driver. This was extremely convenient, so that the driver could leave us all right at the entry point of each location. This saved us tons of time. Mahmoud is extremely knowledgeable and always provided us with background information. We were amazed at how passionate he is about Egypt and its rich culture and history. There wasn’t a question he could not answer. We had the best time on our tour. On top of a fabulous day, he also helped us with a personal hotel issue we were having and really went above and beyond. We feel that we not only had a tour guide, but now have made a friend. We look forward to returning and definitely having Mahmoud as our guide again.

3 Days in Cairo! A fantastic 3 day tour of Cairo from the pyramids, to early mosques and churches, to museums and market. Our guide was so knowledgable about everything from the big stuff (think pyramids and history) to the small stuff (think how much do I tip or not, navigating bargaining on prices). He was funny and patient but also kept us moving so we could maximize our time which enabled him to show us some extra sites such as carpet school and papyrus making and aromotherapy. Great options/choices for our lunches. His driver was a master at navigating the streets and traffic of Cairo (which was a trip in itself!). I hope to go back for more!!

He was very knowledgeable about history, and also great at finding the best views, photo spots/poses, and cool restaurants and businesses. He organized a great itinerary and was always on time and reliable. Highly recommend for your next trip to Egypt!

A terrific trip planner and guide! Mahmoud was a consummate host! He expedited our entry at the airport and then took us on a wonderful custom itinerary tour of Cairo for the next three days. We not only hit the standard tourist sites, but also some unusual out-of-the-way local shops and restaurants that really put the icing on the cake for a full Cairo experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing Tour Guide Mahmoud was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and put together a great itinerary for our 3 days in Cairo. We hit the essential destinations and a few extra stops along the way. He knew his way both around the historic sites and the restaurants and businesses in Cairo. Mahmoud arrived with a minibus and driver promptly every morning. It fit our group of 7-8 people very comfortably. The bus was very clean and comfortable and our driver was excellent. Overall, a very special experience. Highly Recommended!

Amazing Experience. Earlier this summer, I went to Cairo with my wife. We booked a tour with Mahmoud. From the moment we met him in our hotel lobby, we knew we were going to have a great day. He arrived with a driver which made the day that much easier and smooth. We would drive right up to the front of places and get out with Mahmoud which avoid wasting time parking etc. Mahmoud planned a beautiful day and made sure that we not only saw all the highlights on our list, but he even chose places that he knew we would enjoy seeing. He went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed each stop and he also went as far to teach us about the amazing ancient Egyptian history that went along with each location or item. It is a complete understatement to say we had a fabulous time with Mahmoud.

Tre giorni perfetti! Abbiamo trascorso al Cairo tre splendidi giorni soprattutto grazie a Mahmoud! Senza di lui la nostra vacanza non sarebbe stata la stessa. Arrivati in aeroporto è venuto a prenderci con la sua macchina e ci ha portato a vedere lo spettacolo di luci e suoni alle Piramidi di Giza. Il giorno seguente, visita a Saqqara, visita alle Piramidi di Giza e pranzo panoramico, non prima di aver fatto un piccolo giro del sito con i cammelli. In serata ci ha portato a cenare sulla crociera sul Nilo e ci ha permesso di fare degli splendidi acquisti in posti fidati! L’ultimo giorno abbiamo visitato Old Cairo, con le sue chiese e Moschee, poi abbiamo assaggiato il miglior Kosheri della città e per finire il museo egizio e il mercato di Downtown! Mahmoud è molto preparato, simpatico e gentile. Ci siamo ripromessi di tornare in Egitto per un tour del paese insieme a lui!

An Experience Of A Lifetime! Me and my husband come to Egypt for our honeymoon, we booked all our trips with Mahmoud all we had to do was make sure to be ready in the hotel lobby and he did the rest. He organised all our tour guides/ taxis / Boats / hotels/ flights/ trains you name it he did it. He made sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves and was always a phone call/message away if we needed anything. What a trip to remember! Hopefully we will be back in the next few years for him to show us Petra & Alexandria which we sadly didn’t have enough time for. Thanks for everything and thanks to all the team for helping him make our honeymoon a trip of a lifetime.

An Amazing Experience Made Possible We decided to visit Egypt as our Honeymoon, as being new to travelling, and Egypt itself(!), we were quite nervous! Mahmoud at Gate2Egypt was amazing! We wanted to see Luxor, Aswan and Cairo, and these were all made possible by Gate2Egypt. We had no worries in sorting out taxis or travel, or even our accommodation for when travelling, and this was all done for us.
