One of the most preserved temples in ancient Egypt dates back to more than 3500 years ago Built for Queen Hatshepsut one of the famous Queens who ruled Egypt in the new kingdom and she was the daughter of king Tutmoses 1st The temple built from limestone which considers one of the most popular stones they used in ancient Egypt because it was easy to cut We still have some reliefs on the walls of the temple but the most famous ones which talk about the Trade mission sent by the Queen to “punt cities ” to bring a lot of staff especially wood and incense.

Colossi of Memnon

It’s 2 huge statues date back to 1350 B.C Built for the king “Amonhoteb 3rd” who ruled Egypt during the new kingdom exactly at the 18th dynasty The two statues are the only remains of the funerary temple built for king Amonhoteb 3rd The two statues were built at the entrance of the temple to be the guardian’s status for the temple. The statues were made out of Quartz stone which they cut from the red mountain at Cairo.

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple complex, a series of temples dating back to the reigns of different kings, and the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns.

Luxor Temple

Built-in the new kingdom era by pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II, Luxor Temple is located in the middle of Luxor city as it was the center of the celebrations of Opet.
