In the morning you will be transported from your hotel with a private A/C vehicle to Aswan Airport as you will fly north to Cairo. As soon as you arrive you will meet your guide as he will take you in a private A/C vehicle to visit:
Situated on the top of Mokattam hills south of Cairo, The Citadel was built by the great leader Salah El Din El Ayouby on the Islamic medieval architecture with amazing painting and colorful decorations.
One of the most beautiful mosques in Cairo that was built in the Turkish style, The Mosque has its name from the great king Mohamed Ali as he was buried on the right of the main entrance of the mosque.
Situated at the heart of the City, Sultan Hassan Mosque was built in the 14th century on the Mamluk architecture style. The mosque size is enormous and decorated with Islamic carvings and paintings.
Lunch break
After enjoying the tour of the pyramids, we are going to stop for having lunch in one of the nice restaurants with quality food to give you the chance to try the taste of oriental food and traditional Egyptian dishes.
Next to Sultan Hassan Mosque, you will see the mosque of Al Rifai. It is another example of great Islamic architecture. Although the construction of the mosque was begun in 1819 it wasn’t finished until 1912.
Built by the great Muslim leader Amr Ibn Al-Aas in 641 AD to be the first mosque in Egypt and Africa, The mosque has a unique Islamic architecture with beautifully carved pillars as it was rebuilt a lot of times over history.
The famous Khan El Khalili is a huge open market that was built in 970AD. The market is full of shops, restaurants, cafes, and jewelry. There you also can find the finest handmade souvenirs and the tasty spices and much more. The bazaar was built on Islamic architecture and decorated with beautiful walkways and astonishing carvings.
Later you will be transported to Cairo airport where you catch your flight back to Aswan. Then we will take you to your hotel by private A/C vehicle.
